Women’s Handgun Class

June 10th through June 13th

Black Forest Conservation Association will sponsor an introductory Handgun course expressly for women June 10th thru June 13th at the clubhouse on Jenkins Hill.

The course is aimed at people who have done little or no shooting and is designed to provide basic skills with a handgun. It will give a participant an overview of different handguns and the ability to safely handle different firearms.

There will be one night of classroom instruction and several nights of actual shooting and range instruction. It will also touch on the legal aspects of firearm ownership and self-defense.

Classes will run from 6:00 until dark. The number of participants will be limited to 16 for safety reasons. There will be a $75.00 fee to cover course material and ammunition.

Firearms will be furnished, although a participant may also bring their own subject to a safety inspection.
