Winter Events

Gun Show
April 3rd and 4th..  If you would like to help with the gun show (setup, take tickets, park cars, etc.), please contact Bill Sallade.

3-D Archery Shoot
The Black Forest Conservation Association Archery season kicks off on April 25th.  If you would like to help with any of the shoots, please contact Ron Vought, Archery Chairman.

Trap Shoot

The BFCA Trap season will get underway with a shoot approximately 1-1˝ hours after the April 25th Archery Shoot.  We will have a shoot each Sunday there's an Archery shoot, as soon as the Archery course is torn down.  Throughout the summer there will be a weeknight shoot every other Tuesday, 6:00pm until dark (or everyone's finished, whichever comes first), starting June 1st.

Silhouette Shoot
Last year was pretty much a washout, literally; we are hoping to get this program active this year. The silhouette shoot consists of .22 cal handgun shooting from 25, 50, 75, and 100 yards and steel silhouette targets. If you haven’t tried this, come on out. Bring your favorite 22 handgun and brush up on your shooting skills.

Hunter Education Course
The Hunter Ed class held at the clubhouse is tentatively scheduled for the first weekend in June. The PGC has informed us there's likely to be an internet portion that must be completed prior to arriving for the class.  For more information, contact Jim Thomas @ 274-xxxx

Bow Hunter Education Course
Date????. This is a nice course to take although it is not required by the state of Pennsylvania at this time. You can use this course to qualify for other states that require the Bow Hunter Education Course.

Conservation Camp
August 1st thru 7th  (dates are subject to change at this time).

Club Project Days
We will be having projects days throughout the year to do some much needed work and cleanup. At the top of our priorities is putting a new roof on the clubhouse (shingles).  The rifle house also needs some work.  We would like to put in a 50 yard mound and adjust the shooting portal on the far side of the clubhouse to accommodate it.

We try to keep our internet site as up-to-date as possible. The address is
