Application
Purpose
- The Black Forest Conservation Association was formed in 1935 to
promote the conservation of natural resources and to provide a means
for sportsmen to articulate their views. Since that time, it
has also established recreational facilities reflecting its' members
interests.
Facilities
- The Club owns 43 acres of land, a modern clubhouse with kitchen and
sleeping facilities, a 100 yard rifle range with enclosed shooting
ports, a trap range, handgun silhouette range, and 30 target archery
course.
Affiliations
- The Club is a member of the Pennsylvania Federation of Sportsmen's
Clubs, the National Rifle Association, United Bowhunters of PA, and
other conservation-related groups.
Activities -
The BFCA sponsors or operates:
An annual Hunter-Trapper Education Course
A Junior Conservation School - a week-long
activity for 13 to 16 year olds
Semi-annual gun shows
Weekly trap shoots from spring through fall
Monthly handgun silhouette shoots May through
September
Monthly 3D archery shoots April through October
Special events as scheduled
Membership
- Memberships (all memberships include family) are $25 yearly ($35 from
October 1st until the end of the following year for an initial
membership). New members are always welcome.
Meetings are held at the clubhouse at 8:00 PM on the first Friday of
each month (unless otherwise announced). All are invited and
urged to attend. To join, you may complete the form below and
